If I can't fly due to medical reasons, can I cancel to get a full refund?

Waived fees due to medical reasons are soly at the discretion of the airline.

Do airlines offer bereavement fares?

Although they are becoming rare, some airlines still do offer bereavement fare with proper documentation.

Are flights included in the group trips?

No, flights are not included unless specified. Please confirm before making your deposit.

If I am late for my flight can it be changed without penalties?

Penalties are assessed solely at the airlines discretion. Many times the airlines are able to offer you possible options to accommodate your schedule while you’re at the counter.


Can my deposit be refunded for a trip if I cancel?

Deposits are typically non-refundable. Please confirm before making your deposit.

How long does it take to receive a refund?

Time frame for refunds, if issued, is set by the card brands. Once the refund has been processed, it will follow the normal cadence of the card brand.

Can I customize my payment plan?

Yes, we typically setup payments to be on the 15th of every month, however you can customize your payments to match your needs. As long as the final payment is made on or before the final payment date.


Do I need a passport to travel?

Typically, yes. A passport is needed to travel internationally. Please verify before you travel.

Do I need a visa?

Depends on the country you plan to visit. Many countries have strict visa requirements. Please verify before you travel.

Do I need a copy of my itinerary to travel?

Typically, no but it’s always better to have it and don’t need it than to not have it and need it. Although the travel world has been digitized, technology sometimes fail us.

How long does it take to get a passport?

It typical takes between 4 to 6 weeks but have been known to take a much shorter time.


How many people will be on my trip?

Group sizes vary depending on the destination, timeframe and price. On most of our trips, you’ll be part of an intimate group of 12-16 people, though our group sizes are on average 10 people. You can definitely inquire about the size of your group closer towards the travel date.

Are there age restrictions on your trips?

Varies with each trip. An adult must accompany all children under the age of 18. Younger children can join us on our Family trips and Short Break Adventures, but check each trip for its minimum age. Most of our trips don’t have a maximum age limit, but a Self-Assessment Form is required for all passengers 70 years and over.

Who will be my group leader?

While we can’t tell you who your leader is prior to departure, we can tell you they will be awesome. Our leaders are experts in their regions, some because they’ve been traveling there for years, others because they’re local to the region and can’t wait to show you around. On longer journeys, or ones that travel through more than one country, you may change leaders part way through – but this just means double the awesomeness.

Can I just do part of the trip?

Although you won’t be reimbursed for any portion of the trip unused, you can opt to sign off the trip if you need to leave a day or so earlier. If you let us know before travel that you’ll be arriving late or need to leave before the end of the trip, we will notify our team on the ground to best accommodate your requirements.

Can I make any changes to the itinerary of my group trip, either before or during the trip?

Please make sure you are happy with your group trip itinerary before booking because we are unable to change them for individual travelers. However, if you and a group of friends, colleagues or even your school would like your own personally designed itinerary, get in contact with our very talented Groups department; they can tailor an itinerary just for you.

Can I add an extra night on the beginning or end of my group trip, either before or during the trip?

You sure can. Just ask your travel specialist at the time of booking.


I’m travelling alone – is that OK?

Absolutely! Many of our group trips allow for solo travelers. However, if you would like to be paired with another solo traveler, please indicate that at the time of bookings. Note that we do not guarantee we will be able to pair you.

If I am traveling solo, will I be charged a single supplement?

Yes, you will be charge accordingly unless we pair you with another solo traveler.
